Somehow this is not really transparent yet. However, the uninstaller does not remove the files in question. I was then offered a dialog box to uninstall the Flash Player. I then did a search in the WinSxS folders and ran FlashUtil_ActiveX.exe as administrator. Bleeping Computer wrote, that they was able to enable Flash in Microsoft Edge and other browsers. There are only remnants in WinSxS that partialle are no longer executable.
