This game is great! Got solid gameplay, you can go range spike to defensive to full melee attack. You are the Centurion of a small Manipulie, you have to capture control points, which can be from plain flags, to villages to forts. Kinda like team fortress 2 but for melee. A smooth Lego style graphics game based on Ancient Rome. If you are a WvW player in GW2 you know what I’m talking about. Difference here is that when you command, your troops are actually on you and they listen to your commands. This game reminds me a lot of the Guild Wars 2 PVP area called World vs World, where you fight 3 different servers. It has a little of everything in it, Fun to play, Funny moments and on top of that all it has its difficult moments where you really need to whip out some brain power to pass the problem ahead. I think it needs a bit of a tutorial as it can be confusing the first time or two summoning warriors, but other than that, love playing it. It is like capture the flag, but using real roman battles so educational and hilariously fun at the same time. Love the battle system and watching the little lego bobbleheads run round.
Overall, it’s a solid concept that has potential to become a good game in the future. Battles are bite sized and tense especially when you’re both staring each other down while in a shield wall deciding who is going to break and charge first. You control a Roman Legion Unit and issue orders to them during battle such as hold and create a shield wall or to charge the enemy while working to capture and hold flags to earn points. Interesting take on the Action/Strategy genre.
