I have no problem completing missions that say "interact with the skimmer control datalink" or "interact with the operations datalink." The problem is SPECIFICALLY with missions that say to interact with the "settlement datalink." Problem is, I can't seem to find anything called a "settlement datalink." What do they look like? I've found regular data points (the ones you can scan for data mats), hub access datalinks, skimmer control datalinks, comms control datalinks, but no "settlement datalink." And no mission target on my targets panel, either.Īny help? I couldn't really find an answer by googling. Just to be clear, this isn't a problem with the data link scanner itself.
Originally released by Introversion Software in 2001, and streamlined into the Hacker Elite version for the US market, the latter is now available for purchase. When selecting a mission, the host must first select a Planetary Region, then select a mission type. Missions must be selected from the Mission Selection Terminal, located in front of the green hologram of Hoxxes IV on the first floor of the Space Rig, or by pressing the TAB key to view the browser. It's the one that says "interact with the settlement datalink." A cinematic simulation of hacking that owes more to Wargames and Sneakers than Kevin Mitnick and Adrian Lamo, Uplink: Hacker Elite is a quality and influential bit of cyberpunk intrigue. Missions are the main form of gameplay in Deep Rock Galactic.

So, I love doing these settlement "hacking" missions especially early in the game because they pay bank (you can find them running 1mil+ credit rewards even if you're not even cordial with the faction), but there's one I just cannot figure out how to do.
